Dental disease is extremely common in cats and dogs. We will assess your pet’s teeth and gums at their annual booster appointment every year but we encourage you to check their mouths regularly as well. We also recommend brushing their teeth several times a week… although we appreciate that this is easier said than done, especially when it comes to cats!
Many animals will need some sort of dental treatment in their lifetime and each of our branches is equipped with dental equipment to carry out teeth cleaning and polishing. Our Bebington & Heswall branches are equipped with additional equipment for dental surgery & tooth extractions and also have dental radiography suites
Here at Broadway Vets, we understand that your pet’s dental hygiene is just as important as any other routine and preventative treatment. Like humans, pets can develop a build-up of tartar, leading to tooth decay and gum disease. Brushing your pet's teeth once or twice a day is the best option for good oral hygiene.
