They have been fantastic with both my dogs and have been so very supportive with myself when things haven't been so good. - Broadway Vets (Liscard) were absolutely wonderful in getting our dog Lotzo ready for his big move to Australia. Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond. - I have been with the Broadway practice for over 30 years. What I like about Broadway is that it’s great for often getting an appointment on the day you ring up. The staff are warm and friendly and I am always greeted with a smile when I come to the practice and asked how I am and how my animals are! My animals are treated with love and care there which is extremely important. This is why every animal I have had has been under their care. The vets are first class, extremely competent and you have total faith in their skills and ability. I personally would never take my animals anywhere else. Both vets and staff are extremely caring and compassionate and I have nothing but praise for them all. I have six dogs registered with the practice and four cats and they have all received first class care. All of the vets at the practice are excellent. Suzy Major is my vet and I find her to be very knowledgeable indeed. I trust her implicitly in her care of my animals. What I particularly like about the practice is that the vets not only get to know their four legged patients very well but they also get to know their owners and understand and care for them too when difficult decisions have to be made about their pets. This is so important and really means so much. Nothing is ever too much trouble for anyone at the practice and I would say they ‘all’ go the extra mile for their clients and really exceed client expectation with their service. For me personally, I would say ‘best practice on Wirral’ for vets, nurses and admin. staff. Don’t know what I would do without all these lovely people. B. Davies
- Excellent vets, whether it’s routine treatment like an annual booster or health problems, our pets have always been treated brilliantly. We have also used the out of hours service, vet met us early hours in morning, glad we didn’t wait for our pets condition to worsen, all well again by morning excellent service. Friendly, knowledgeable vets and nurses who offer lots of advice along with efficient, helpful and friendly reception staff too! - Broadway Vets have taken care of my pets over many years. Very importantly, they have also taken care of me when I needed support. I will illustrate this by telling the story of Gwyn, my very special rescue Cross Collie, for whom they cared for 12 years. Just before Christmas, 2014, Gwyn was taken very ill, and I was told that he probably only had days to live – but he didn’t want to die! With wonderful loving and professional care, Gwyn lived an active, happy life for a further 20months – a miracle dog! He actually loved visiting the surgery, knew the staff and they always made a great fuss of him. When the final decision had to be made, the staff were completely professional, but obviously shared my distress. In the days following, I received a personal message from Gwyn’s vet, and calls from nurses who had cared for him, not only to say how sorry they were, but enquiring about my welfare. These actions were far and above anything one would normally expect. In summary I would say that Broadway provides not only a professional and caring service to their patients but, importantly, extends that to their owners. Thank you all so much, Gwyn’s Mum. M. - It has been 11 years since I registered with Broadway Veterinary Surgery, Wallasey. Previously, I’d experienced great difficulty in getting a vet out of hours when I had a very sick dog and no transport. Broadway Veterinary Surgery give a 24-hour service, seven-days-a-week which is in itself very reassuring, especially for we elderly clients. I’ve found the care, attention and veterinary skills given to my pets over the years exceptional – particularly when the sad time came for me to let them go. The staff at Broadway couldn’t have been kinder, not only to my pets, but also to me as a heart-broken owner. They are so understanding and sympathetic. - Having been a client of Broadway for over 15 years with my golden retrievers, Millie (2002 – 2015) and now Bess, who is almost 2 years old, I can genuinely say that I have found all the vets, veterinary nurses and receptionists to be friendly, caring and compassionate at all times.
